Research and Development - Andrea Ross, PhD

Andrea Ross joined the Clinical Tools team in 2007. She received a B.S. degree in Biology from Duke University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology from Emory University. After completing a postdoctoral research fellowship in the field of developmental genetics, she became interested in computational approaches for scientific data management. She pursued additional training in computer science and received a certificate in computer programming from North Carolina State University in the spring of 2009. At Clinical Tools, she has led the technical development of websites for projects related to substance abuse and dementia care.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys hiking, bird-watching, gardening, playing golf and spending time with her family and many pets
